The most popular water softener for domestic use is the Kinetico 2020c, of which two models are available. The HE is for indirect systems, ie those with a cold water tank, usually in the roof space. The HF has higher flow rates and was specifically developed for use with direct systems, where all the water flows under mains pressure.
The Kinetico 2050c is suitable for larger properties, small hotels, b&b’s etc.
